McGOVERN, Alan (Sandymount) - June 29, 2011, in the excellent care of St. Vincent's Private Hospital, peacefully, after a very long illness borne with immense courage, determination and dignity, dearly loved husband of Marie (Fingleton). Much loved son of Ada and the late Jim, also sadly missed by his loving sister, Rene, brothers-in-law, Jim, Anthony and Liam, sisters-in-law, Míne and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, godchildren, relatives and wide circle of friends. Reposing at home, prior to removal to Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, today (Friday) arriving at 5.00pm. Funeral after 10.00am Mass tomorrow (Saturday) to Shanganagh Cemetery. House private. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Blackrock Hospice.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis
