DUNNE Dr Elizabeth A. (died December 2, 2006) - Liz's brothers George and James, wish to thank everybody who contacted us since her death. We thank those who attended the Service of Remembrance, many travelling long distances in inclement weather. We thank her colleagues and friends at U.C.C. and those in the areas of Medicine, Mental Health, Management and Research. We were especially glad to hear from so many of her former students with happy memories of her classes at U.C.C., which she greatly enjoyed, she was so proud of their achievements. We appreciate the loyalty and kindness of her carers and close friends, it was due entirely to them that she lived at home for so long. We thank the Buddhist Community, Beara and the staff of Mercy University Hospital. We thank the staff at Marymount for the wonderful and imaginative manner in which they care for everybody - Liz was so happy to be there. We are aware of the many people we have been unable to contact but we hope this notice will serve as a token of our deep gratitude and friendship.
