GAHAN HASSELL (Elizabeth) (Betty) (Maunsells Park, Galway and formerly Dunmanway, Co. Cork) October 2, 2009 (peacefully), at U.C.H.G., beloved grandmother of Laura-Anne, Luke, Ciaran and David, devoted mother of Ciaran, Philip, Aoife and Niamh, much loved sister to Mary, Nancy, Jimmy, Kate, Breda, Rita, Irene, Vera, Carmel and Tommy; sadly missed by her sons and daughters, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Ian and the Hassell family, Dermot and Sinéad, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and wonderful friends. Reposing at the family home tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon from 4 o'clock with Removal at 7 o'clock to St. Joseph's Church, Presentation Road, Galway. Funeral after 11 o'clock Mass on Wednesday to St. Mullins Cemetery, Glynn, Co. Carlow to arrive at 5 o'clock'A truly amazing spirit who shone a light on everyone she met.
