McVEY (Hugo) (Dublin) (died May 28, 2006) - Hugo's wife Mary, his daughters Liz and Lucy, son-in-law Noel and his grand-daughters Helen, Zoe and Aimee and all his family would like to thank sincerely all those who sympathised with their great loss. We would like to thank all those who attended his funeral and, in particular, those who travelled some distance to do so. Special thanks to the Irish Cancer Society, Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross Palliative Care team and Home Care team, the public health nurses, the staff of the Day Ward in St Luke's Hospital, Dr Damian Rutledge and the staff of Wexford Street pharmacy. Thanks are also due to Hugo's work colleagues at Spain Courtney Doyle and Bishop's Square, and to Pat Moylan and the staff of Andrews Lane Theatre for their constant support and to Father Willie Nugent for his spiritual care and special funeral Mass. In addition we would like to thank everybody who helped and comforted Hugo during the course of his illness and all his many friends for their kindness and support. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
