BRACKEN (John) (Late of Bonavalley, Athlone and Salthill, Galway) (Died December 23, 2005) - Annie, John's devoted wife and family wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement, including all those who attended the removal and funeral and those who sent Mass cards. Special thanks to Fr Mark Bennet and co-celebrants Fr John Mahon and Gerald Dowd for the wonderful service; Dr Mark McCormack and Claire Delaney who were John's medical carers, Dr John Barton and his team for John's sensitive and dignified treatment during his hospitalisation, the Matron, nursing sisters and staff of St Joseph's Ward, Portiuncla Hospital whose care and attention to John was outstanding and to Sr Mercedes for Pastoral care. In particular, to the neighbours in Bonavalley, whose kindness during his illness gave Annie great comfort. Mary Corcoran, John's devoted niece, for her great kindness and support over the years. We are ever grateful for all the support during this difficult time. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Míle buíochas díbh go léir.
