His wife Gari (Margaret), children Tim, Sally-Anne, Jaime, Rory together with their partners and cherished grandchildren and Brian's family, take this opportunity of thanking everyone who supported us during Brian's long illness, at the time of his death and in the past year. A very special thank you to Dr. David Fennelly and his wonderfully caring staff in Nightingale Ward and the O.D.U. in Blackrock Clinic. To Fr. Gerry, chaplain, thank you for accompanying Brian and always keeping a smile on his face even in the dark days. Thank you also to Justin Kilcullen and the staff of Trocaire for their many kindnesses. To Bishop John Kirby and his fellow bishops and to the many priest friends of Brian's who joined with them in concelebrating Requiem Mass, we are deeply appreciative. To the President and Taoiseach who sent their aides-de-camp, thank you for honouring Brian's memory. To the priests of our local parish of St. Anne's, Shankill and in particular Fr. Rory Hanly who was a tower of strength to Brian, thank you. To Brian's many friends all over the world who travelled long distances to attend the funeral, our heartfelt thanks. We will always remember the support and kindnesses of our extended family and close friends and neighbours. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
