FLAHERTY, (née Byrne) Joan (Castleview, Athlumney, Navan, Co. Meath) (Died October 19, 2009) - Joan's family would like to thank most sincerely all our relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us on our sad loss. To her brothers and sisters with whom we shared this grief together, thank you. Our thoughts are with her brother Fr. Martin, who could not be there in person but was with us in prayer and in spirit. To her oldest friend Sr. Noeleen Mooney, thank you for your support before, during and after these sad days. A sincere thank you to all who attended her removal and funeral, sent Mass cards and messages of condolence. Our deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, who cared for her so well in her final days and to the staff at Connolly, Mater, St. Luke's and Beaumont Hospitals who treated her during her illness. A special word of thanks to the priests of the parish, especially Fr. Dwayne Gavin and Fr Brendan Ludlow and to Fr. Terry McElvaney who conducted her funeral service so sensitively. Our thank also to the altar servers, Tom Fitzsimons for his wonderful singing, to the people who prepared her grave and to McElvaney Funeral Directors for doing a superb job. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
