SHAW Claire (née McGowan). Almost a year has now past since, after a period of mourning for her son Peter, and a long illness, Claire died peacefully on August 3 2011. Claire's granddaughter Myrtille, her sister Carmel, brothers Seamus and Sean and the extended family would like to thank most sincerely all the friends, relatives and kind neighbours who sympathised with them in their bereavement and who visited and supported Claire during her bereavement and subsequent illness. We would also like to thank all those who sent Mass cards, flowers and letters of sympathy. A special word of thanks to Fr. Derek Smyth CC of Foxrock. To Monsignor Seamus Conway of Booterstown, who celebrated her funeral Mass and visited Claire in the various hospitals and the Nursing home. Our thanks also to the staff in Beacon Hospital, St. Vincent's Private Hospital, St. Michael's Hospital and Newtownpark House Nursing Home where Mrs. Conlan and her staff took such great care of Claire in her final months.
