McDERMOTT, (Knockranny, Westport) (age 51 years) October 23, 2009 - At Mayo General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, David beloved husband of Mary, dedicated and loving father to their children Keith, Paul, Peter, Maria, David, Brian, Anna, Grace and granddaughter Emma. Sadly missed by his sister Elenor, brothers Paul and Dermot, stepmother Mary, treasured family friend Kevin Malone and all his extended family and friends. May his gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing at the family home tomorrow (Sunday) from 3 o'clock with removal at 7 o'clock to St. Mary's Church, Westport. Requiem Mass Monday at 11 o'c with funeral afterwards to Aghavale Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Oncology Unit, Mayo General Hospital or c/o McGings Funeral Directors, Westport.
