O'CONNOR, Shane (Churchtown, died April 2, 2009) - On this our treasured Shane's first anniversary, his Mum Margaret, Dad Christy and beloved sister Edel wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us and consoled us on the tragic loss of our beautiful boy. We would like to thank all the Staff in Cheeverstown House for the unending dedication and love they showered on Shane for 25 years. In particular we would like to thank the Staff in Beeches 2 and Unit 1, Elm House. To the Staff in St. Michael's House we say thank you for the care they gave to Shane in his earlier years. We would also like to thank the Staff in ICU and Ormsby Ward, Tallaght Hospital for the wonderful attention they gave to Shane. To Fr Kieran McDermott, Dundrum and the Astral String Quartet we thank you for a beautiful Mass and to Fr. John Kelly, Tallaght Hospital, thank you for being with us throughout and concelebrating Shane's Mass. Thank you to Fanagans Funeral Directors for their sensitivity. The love and support and kindness we received from family, neighbours, friends, work colleagues and Staff in Cheeverstown House helped us get through a very difficult time and continues to do so. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. Shane is remembered with so much love and affection today and every day and he will be carried in all our hearts forever. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
