CUNNINGHAM, Nicholas (Bryansford, Newcastle, Co.Down - died October 20, 2009.) The wife, Nuala, daughters, Moya, Joan, Aishling and Grace, son, Nicholas, brothers, Seamus, Petsy and Michael and sisters, Mary Jo, Pauline and Lily, of the late Nicky Cunningham, wish to thank all who sympathised with us and supported us through our sad bereavement. Particular thanks to the paramedics and PSNI Officers who attended the scene of Nicky's death, the Very Rev. Frs. Albert McNally, Sean Cahill, Gerry Patton, Archdeacon Liam Boyle and Frs. Declan Mulligan and Niall Sheehan, who concelebrated Nicky's Requiem Mass, the Board of Governors, staff and students of St Malachy's High School, Castlewellan, in particular the Head of Music, Mrs Cora Magee, who organised the music for Nicky's funeral, and the soloists and choir of staff and students of the school who enhanced the liturgy with their singing, the students of St Colman's College and the Sixth Form Students of St Malachy's High School who formed the guard of honour, Bryansford GAC for allowing use of their car parking facilities on the day of Nicky's funeral, the Board of Governors, staff and students of St Colman's College, Newry, the wider education community of Northern Ireland, the members of the PSNI who controlled the traffic on the day of Nicky's funeral, all the clergy of the dioceses of Down & Connor and Dromore who attended the wake or funeral, the neighbours of Moneyscalp, all those who helped in any way at the wake, called at the family home, attended the funeral, gave Mass cards, sympathy cards or wrote letters of condolence, those who made a donation to the Myasthenia Gravis Association in lieu of floral tributes (a total of [PO]1200 has been donated to the Myasthenia Gravis Association) and Michael Sawey, for the professional and dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
