SHERIDAN, Billy (Dublin) (Second Anniversary, August 13) - Precious memories, lovingly remembered and greatly missed today and every day by his wife Valda, children Daniel, Marcus and Nicola and all his family and friends.
SHERIDAN (Billy) - On the First Anniversary of the death of our beloved Billy (August 13, 2009), his wife Valda, children, Daniel, Marcus and Nicola, his mother Angela, brothers Peter and Tony, sisters Liz and Lorraine, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Arthur and June and all his extended Sheridan and White families wish to express our sincere appreciation to all his large circle of friends and colleagues for their friendship and support during the last year in so many different ways. Also our heartfelt thanks to all the staff and parents of Taney School for their special care and help and to The High School, Rathgar. Our special thanks to all who attended Billy's Funeral Service. We thank The Reverend Ian Gallagher and all the Clergy of St. Bridgid's, Stillorgan and family and friends for making Billy's Funeral Service so special. Their continued support, comfort and help is very much appreciated. Thank you also to those who sent sympathy cards, Mass Cards, letters and messages. We especially thank everyone who donated so generously to Children First, a charity so close to Billy and Valda's heart. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, as there are so many, so please accept this as an acknowledgement of our sincere gratitude to you all.A year on we all still miss Billy so much and always will. He will be with us in our hearts forever. Never forgotten. We love you Billy.
Some Man for One Man.
You can shed tears that he has gone
Or you can smile because he lived.
You can close your eyes and pray
that he will come back
Or you can open your eyes
and see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty
because you cannot see him
Or you can be full of the love
that you shared with him.
You can turn your back on tomorrow
and live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow
because of yesterday.
You can remember him
and only that he has gone
Or you can cherish his memory
and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what he would have wanted - Smile, love, play and go on.
