SUGRUE (Ó Siochfhrada) (Fionntrá, 63 Threadneedle Road, Salthill, Galway) - August 23, 2005, Brendan (Patrick), former Chief Fire Officer, Galway City and County), in the wonderful care of the staff of St Rita's Ward, U.C.H.G., in his 89th year, after a long and fruitful life. Greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Flo and his children Áine, Denis, Una, Maura, Eoin, Eileen, Siobhán, Deirdre and Brendan, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, extended family and friends. Reposing at home today (Thursday) from 4 o'clock with removal to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill at 7.30 o'clock Funeral after 11 o'clock Mass tomorrow (Friday) to Rahoon Cemetery."Ní fheicfidh muid a leithéad aríst".
