A Father Tom Story

DearFriends of Father Tom,

My name is james lowry and i've been very fortunate to know Father Tom and experience his extraordinary friendship for many years.

I was sitting in St Michael's church last night and had a divine father tom inspiration during the very moving 'removal' ceremony.

Could i invite you to take some time and write down your favourite father tom personal story. Everyone in the church last night definitely has a great tom fehily story that should be told.

Maybe we could get them together and get a little book out. If you like, email the story to me at jimlowry76@gmail.com under the heading father tom story.

'go mbeimid beo ar an am seo arís'

Slán go fóill Father Tom, agus go raibh míle maith agat go deo,

j

God is love, and so was Fr. Tom

I only had the privilege of being in Fr. Tom's company a few times. But I did have the honor of dining with him at his residence once, at which time I had the pleasure of meeting Annie. I worked with the visionary Fr. Tom to launch the website for the Irish Christian Meditation Groups and every minute of our interactions were Spiritual, thoughtful and fun. He did share with me that Fr. John Main was of great assistance to him through some difficult times in his life, both by having talks with Fr. John in person and by teaching Fr. Tom the practice of Christian Mediation. There is no doubt that Fr. Tom passed on those good deeds to others many times over during the following years. I also have Fr. Tom to thank for introducing me to someone, via an email communication, who is now a good friend of mine, Dr. Steve Georgiou. Thank you for the gift of your giving self Fr. Tom.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a Anam Dílis
