SAUNDERS, Frank (Portarlington, Co. Laois and formerly Smith's Cottages, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.) Died August 8, 2008 - His wife Betty, sons Frank and Ian, daughter Rhona, and brother Bill (Canada) would like to thank all those who supported and sympathised with us on our loss, those who attended the removal and Requiem Mass at St. Michael's Church, Portarlington and cremation at Mount Jerome, Dublin and everyone who travelled, including those from abroad, to be with us. A special mention for the doctors, nurses and staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise, (ICU & CCU teams), also St. Laurence O'Toole, Fintan Lalor, New Ross pipe bands and the Pipe Band Circle at home and abroad. Thanks also to all the neighbours and friends from Portarlington and former neighbours and friends from Ranelagh/Donnybrook and former work colleagues from Smurfit C.C. for their kindness shown, those who sent Mass cards, letters and floral tributes. A special word of thanks to Fr. Tom O' Byrne, who delivered such touching and personal Requiem Services and for his continuous support. Thanks to Garda Síochána Traffic Corp from Portarlington for their assistance. Finally we would like to thank our families and friends who supported each of us. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgment will be a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.May Frank rest in peace.
