LEYDEN (Leo) (New York, formerly Toronto and Dublin) - August 7, 2007 (peacefully) after a long illness in New York. Respected actor with the Gate Theatre (1940's and 1950's) and a founding member of the Radio Éireann Players. Father of Vanessa, father-in-law of Adam (Redfield) and grandfather to Noah and Martha. Will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all, including his ex-wife Colette, his beloved sister Phyllis (O'Neill), brother-in-law Seán (Carr), nieces Anne (Weisner), Aideen, Christine, Sheila and Emer (O'Neill), Laura (Kenny), nephews Barry, Leo and John (Carr), nephew John (O'Neill), nieces and nephews-in-law, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends. He will be remembered at 10 o'clock Mass, St. Mary's Church, Sandyford, on Tuesday, August 14, 2007.
