DUCKLING Christopher (Chris) Dublin and North Yorkshire (October 31, 2008) - On the occasion of his first Anniversary, Chris's wife Eileen (O'Sullivan) together with her sister, brothers and extended family would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We thank his many colleagues, friends and neighbours who attended at Our Lady's Hospice and all those who travelled the long distance to Valentia Island for the funeral. Thanks to those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, floral tributes and all who gave donations to our Lady's Hospice. Thanks to the consultants, doctors, nurses and staff at the Haematology Departments at both Tallaght and St James's Hospitals and especially to the staff of Private 1 St James's. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at our Lady's Hospice for the outstanding care received by Chris. A special thanks to Chris's G.P. Dr Mary Fleming, Rathmines and Mr Chris Byrne and his staff at Life Pharmacy, Rathmines. We thank Fr Joe Kennedy, Mount Argus for his support and kindness. We are indebted to Mr Seamus Lynch, Funeral Director, (Valentia) for his professionalism and generosity. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated at Mount Argus Church on Friday November 13, at 7.30pm.

Very sad to hear of Chris' passing. Just heard from friends. Hadn't seen or heard from him since he left for Baghdad, and then the US. Andy Fenton, Middlesbrough.
