De BURCA Sean (Col. Retired), Killiney, Co. Dublin - Sean's wife Catherine, his daughters Avryll, Aideen, Denise and Laura, his sons-in-law Adekunle, Fintan, Ronan and Declan, his grand- children Sean, Niamh, Christopher, Susan, Killian, Catherine and Hao and all his relatives wish to thank everyone who supported us since Sean's unexpected death. We are very grateful to all those who attended his removal and Funeral Mass; for all the Mass Cards, letters, messages of sympathy, telephone calls and flowers. Our very special thanks to the Chief of Staff, Lt. General Dermot Earley, the Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. General Pat O'Sullivan; the Engineering Corps and all other members of the Defence Forces, serving and retired who made a sad occasion so meaningful, to Fr. Murney, Fr. Kieran and Fr. Holahan who officiated so beautifully at the ceremonies. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by his many friends, both here and abroad as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
