GEARTY (Dr Joan C.) - On this her birthday, the nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces of Dr Joan C. Gearty join with her sister and brothers Maura, Gerard and Padraic along with her God-daughter Ann in sincerely thanking all concerned for their great kindness, support and sympathy before and since Joan sadly died, some months ago. We have enduring and heartfelt appreciation to so many, it is impossible to name individuals, but we include in a special way Joan's great pals, close personal friends from her childhood and student days, and during her working years in Longford, Dublin and Birmingham. We are especially grateful to all at Blackrock Hospice who were so wonderfully tender, caring and loving. We also sincerely and particularly thank the clergy, choir and staff at St Mel's Cathedral, the undertaker team and those at Ballymacormack Cemetery and countless personal and family friends.
