MONAHAN Peter (Riverglen, Delgany, Co. Wicklow, formerly South Main Street, Wexford Town and President of Delgany Golf Club) - March 12, 2011 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family, after a brave battle against cancer, much loved husband of Marie and devoted father of Rebecca, Stephen and Mark; deeply missed by his loving wife, daughter, sons, sisters Eithne and Sheila, brother Jimmy, son-in-law Ray, grandsons Cillian and Joshua, brothers-in-law Declan, Denis, Ken and Patrick, sisters-in-law Ann Gitte and Rita extended family and his wide circle of friends. Reposing at his home. Removal this (Monday) evening at 6.15 o'c to St. Patrick's Church, Kilquade arriving at 7.00 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) after 12.00 o'c Mass to Kilquade New Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society. "May he rest in peace"

<p>A friend not an Uncle</p> <p>More of a friend than an Uncle. A man I looked up to and admired. Peter was a presence. I'll remember him as a tall handsome generous man who laughed, loved life and inspired others. Successful in all he undertook, may he rest in peace; he will be missed sorely.</p>
