McGARRY (Julia) (née Callaghan) (Woodview, Collooney, Co. Sligo and formerly of Boho, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon) (Died Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006) - The children, Shauna, Marita, Josephine, Gerard, Gabrielle, Padraig, Anthony, Hugh, Lynette and Bernadette, her brothers Austin, Hubert and Willie (Castlerea) and our extended family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the very sad loss of a loving mother, sister and dear friend to so many people. Her presence among us is sorely missed and the absence of her strong spirit and generous heart leaves a gap in our lives which we know we will never fill. May we thank all those who supported us in our great loss. Everything you did meant so much to us. Your attendance at the house, at the removal and at the funeral, your Mass Cards, floral tributes, letters of sympathy and personal condolences. A special word of thanks to the people who travelled long distances on both days and who thought of us on those days. A very special thanks to Mother's great friend Msgr. Joseph Spellman and Fr John Maloney; to Mother's many friends in Collooney, Knock and Boho for their kindness to Mother and to us over the years. To Sligo General Hospital for their kindness to Mother; to St John's Hospital, thank you to all the staff for the dedicated care of Mother in the last 30 months of her life. Thank you to Dr John Daly and Dr Donal Smith and the staff of Collooney Clinic for their kindness to Mother over the years. We especially thank Brid Torsney for her dedication and help to Mother at home. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
