HARRINGTON Patrick David (West Palm Beach and Jupiter, Florida and formerly of Clondalkin, Dublin) - May 13, 2010 after a long but cheerful battle with cancer in Jackson Memorial Hospital Miami. Son of the late Phil and Fionn, beloved husband of Liana, loving and much loved father of Elizabeth, brother of Finola, Phil, Kevin, Ailbhe, Conor and Emer; he will be terribly missed by his wife, family, relatives in Ireland and Florida his many friends and all who knew him and his great sense of humour and joie de vivre. Funeral has taken place in Florida. 'For what is it to die
but to stand naked in the wind
and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing,
but to free the breath
from its restless tides,
that it may rise and expand
and seek God unencumbered?
