BYRNE Albert (Bertie) (Dalkey and late of Rathgar and Howth, Co. Dublin) - December 3, 2009 (peacefully), in the care of the Blackrock Hospice, after a long illness so courageously borne, beloved husband of Annette (née Falvey), much loved father of Áine (O'Neill), Gerardine (Hackett), Albert, Tony and Colm; sadly missed by his loving wife, children, sixteen grandchildren, sons-in-law Liam and Joe, daughters-in-law Maria, Fiona and Fiona, sisters Phyllis and Hannah, brothers Gerard, Kevin and Jimmy, his extended family and friends. Our special thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Blackrock Hospice and St. Vincent's Private Hospital. May he rest in peace. Funeral today (Saturday) after 10 o'clock Mass in Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dalkey, to Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired in memory of Albert to the Blackrock Hospice.
