O'BRIEN (née Phipps) Susan (Malahide Co. Dublin) - June 15, 2011 unexpectedly in Toronto, Canada after a short illness which she so bravely fought. Dearly beloved wife and best friend of 34 years of Derry, and loving and much loved mother of Eoin and Barry. Sadly missed by her parents Paddy and Bernie, brothers Gerry, David and Gary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly. "Our Lovely Angel is at Peace"

O'BRIEN Susan Mary (née Phipps) - On the First Anniversary of Susan's untimely death, her husband Derry, sons Eoin and Barry, father Paddy, mother Bernie and brothers Gerard, David , Gary and their extended families wish to thank all those who sympathised with us on our terrible loss. Sincere thanks to all those family, friends, colleagues and neighbours who assisted with Sue's funeral and burial and to the hundreds who kindly sent letters of condolences and Mass cards. The family acknowledge with humility and deep gratitude this massive show of love and support then and throughout the past year. It has meant a great deal to us all to know how loved and highly regarded Susan was by her family friends and colleagues. An Anniversary Mass will be held for Susan tomorrow Saturday, June 16 at St. Gabriel's Church Clontarf, at 6.00pm. Please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of gratitude and appreciation to everyone.
