WALSH (John) (Drogheda) (Died July 1, 2008) - Carol (Curran), Marie (MacSweeney) and Margaret (McCausland), and our extended families wish to thank all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. We would like to thank the staff at Wogans, representatives of the I.F.T.B.A., The Royal British Legion, the R.I.A.I. and M.A.H.S. and all those who travelled to visit John in hospital or to attend his funeral, from throughout Ireland and from Scotland and England. A special mention is made of Vivian McKeon and John Sweeney who offered valuable assistance with the arrangements. The Palliative Care Team at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda provided thoughtful, tender care for John throughout his final weeks, and we are grateful to them for that. We would also like to thank the domestic, catering and care staff, and the nurses, physiotherapist and doctors of Ground Floor East, Our Lady's Hospital for their wholehearted attention to John. We appreciate the generous help of our wonderfully supportive neighbours. We also. wish to thank the pastoral staff and chaplains at the hospital, and Fr. Michael and Fr. Barry of St. Peter and Paul's Church, Balbriggan. All your input and assistance, your floral tributes, letters, phone calls, cards, Mass bouquets and various expressions of condolence are deeply appreciated.
