SLANE (Noel Henry) (Beaumont, died April 27, 2007) - On the first anniversary of his death, Noel's mother, Elizabeth, his brothers and sisters Anne-Marie, Lillian (Liz), Jackie (Jack), Geraldine, Bernadette, Susan, Miriam and Charles, his beloved nieces and nephews, and his extended family, wish to thank sincerely all those friends and neighbours who offered us sympathy and support through Noel's short and bravely born illness and at the time of his death. We appreciate the care given to Noel by the staff of Beaumont Hospital, particularly Dr. Regina McQuillan and the nurses on duty during Noel's final hours. The family are indebted to our friend and neighbour Fr. Declan Blake and also to Fr. Michael Regan who concelebrated the funeral Mass with Fr. Donal Byrne of the parish church in Beaumont. We would like to give special mention to Noel's work friends and colleagues in An Post, particularly the Air Mail Unit at Dublin Airport, their special tribute to Noel and the true warmth of their affection for him was of great comfort to the family. To friends and staff at The Comet in Santry, we acknowledge and appreciate your friendship to our Noel. Thank you to all who visited Noel, attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes. The many expressions of sympathy and support will always be treasured by us. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
