HINES (Alan) (Late of Cliff Cottage Howth) - On the first anniversary of his death on August 10, 2007, Alan's wife Melanie, his little daughter Katie, his Mum and Dad, Harry and Mary, his brother Andrew, together with Melanie's family, wish to thank most sincerely their families and friends, who travelled from many parts of Ireland, and abroad to attend his funeral. The kindness and care given to Alan and ourselves throughout his illness, by the staff of St. Francis Hospice, will be forever remembered. Thank you to Alan's many friends, and his colleagues from the E.S.B who visited him in the hospice. We appreciated all the visits to the house, the donations to St. Francis Hospice, the Mass cards and letters of sympathy received. We thank Fr. Ciaran O'Carroll and Mgr. Brendan Houlihan for their kindness. We are so grateful to those who have helped us over the last year as we try to adjust to life without Alan. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
