BYRNE, Pat (January 13, 2008) Monread Heights, Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Clonbonny, Athlone, Co. Westmeath - Pat's wife Margaret, children Sharon and John, and extended family wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. We extend our deep appreciation to all our wonderful friends, relatives and neighbours who attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial in Naas, and those who sent Mass cards and letters of sympathy. A special word of thanks to Pat's friend Bill and all his work colleagues at the Office of Public Works, and all his friends at Naas Local History Group. To know that so many people felt so warmly about Pat comforted us greatly. We wish to express our deepest appreciation to Prof. John Crown, Dr. Charles G. Gallagher and the wonderful nurses and staff of St. Vincent's Private Hospital and our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Caitríona Ní Bhriain and Dr. Rachel Keelan, Naas, for their caring support and professionalism during Pat's illness. Our warmest thanks to Fr. John Brickley for his support during Pat's illness and for his beautiful funeral Mass. Many thanks to Eoin Lynch and Josie Byrne for their beautiful singing and also to George Mullins and staff of James Hughes and Sons Funeral Directors for their kindness and sensitivity and to An Garda Síochána for their support and assistance. Sincere thanks to the doctors and staff of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh, Co. Kildare who gave Pat comfort and dignity in his final days. A special word of thanks to palliative care nurse Sharon O'Brien. Thank you to all those who generously donated to the hospice.
