FOLEY (Damian) (Dublin and Leitrim) (Died May 7, 2006) - On this the first anniversary of our beloved Damian's tragic and untimely death, Kate, Paul, Lar and entire family circle wish to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us during our time of pain and loss. We are deeply indebted to all those who attended the services, and who sent letters, Mass Cards and flowers, or who called to the house, telephoned or helped in any way. To the Kimmage Manor funeral team we are grateful for their gentle and supportive presence. A special debt of gratitude is owed to Damian's amazing and special friends who came from so many places to support us with their outpouring of love and caring. Their presence in such numbers was a most gratifying and overwhelming experience. Our profound appreciation is extended to our wonderful friends and neighbours whose help was invaluable and to Kimmage Manor Ladies Committee who worked tirelessly to provide refreshments for the large numbers attending the removal and funeral. Our undying gratitude to Monica, Mary and Marion, great and good friends, without whose help, energy and love it would have been impossible. We are deeply appreciative of the wonderful pastoral care administered by Frs. Brendan Carr CSSp and Austin Healy CSSp. We are eternally grateful to Fr. Tom Layden SJ, who celebrated the funeral mass, also to Rev. Kevin Dalton who delivered the eulogy and to all the priests who participated in the concelebration of a most memorable and dignified Eucharist. Many thanks to the readers of the word, those who offered prayers of petition and to the musicians who arranged and provided such beautiful music. Our sincere thanks to Fr. Billy Flynn for being present at the ceremony in Glenbrien and for delivering the graveside prayers, to Paul Browne's Funeral team for their humanity and excellence and to Det. Garda Tommy Flynn for his great caring and kindness. For every kind act we are humbled and grateful. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
