PATTERSON, Basil (Ballybunion, Co. Kerry, formerly Dooradoyle, Limerick and Churchtown, Dublin) - June 21, 2009, peacefully, in the dedicated care of the doctors and nurses in the Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee, loving husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty), brother of the late Richard, Isabel and Joan, beloved and dedicated father of Stuart; sadly missed by his loving sister Elizabeth (Betty), daughter-in-law Fiona, grandchildren Laura and Richard, brothers-in-law George and James and sister-in-law Edna, cherished nieces and nephews, extended family and the many friends made over his lifetime especially those at Ballybunion Golf Club. Reposing at his home at Ballybunion on Wednesday, June 24 from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock Removal at Noon on Thursday, June 25, to St Mary's Cathedral, Limerick City for funeral service at 2 o'clock Interment immediately afterwards in the Cathedral grounds. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to either the Bon Secours Hospital or St Mary's Cathedral Restoration Fund.
