WHEELER, Desmond - March 8, 2009 (peacefully), after a long illness, at St Vincent's University Hospital, beloved husband of Maureen, brother to his late sisters Brenda and Tommy, to his brothers-in-law Earle, Billy and the late Frank, his sisters-in-law Lily, Camilla and Rita and all his nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. He will be greatly missed but joyously remembered. May he rest in peace. Removal from his residence in Blackrock to the Church of the Assumption (Booterstown Avenue) today (Tuesday) arriving at 5 p.m. Funeral tomorrow (Wednesday) after 10 o'clock Mass to Cruagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired to the Alzheimers' Society of Ireland, 43 Northumberland Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
