EVANS (Deansgrange, Co. Dublin) - December 2, 2009 (peacefully), after a short illness borne with great courage and dignity in St Vincent's University Hospital, Dublin, Derek, father of the late Tom; sadly missed by his beloved wife Eileen, son Patrick, grandchildren Jennifer, Gregory, Simon, Shane and Simone, daughters-in-law Joan and Sophie, brother Harry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Removal today (Friday) from Quinn's of Glasthule to St Brigids Church, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin arriving at 10.50 o'clock for 11 o'clock funeral Service followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
