SILKE (Blanchardstown) - May 7, 2005 (unexpectedly), in the loving care of the staff at St James's Hospital (peacefully), after a long illness borne with courage, patience and good humour, Alex (Lexie), former Principal of Coláiste Íde, Finglas, darling husband and best friend of Eileen, loving father of Gerard, Henry, Siobhán and Úna, dear brother of Michael, David, Bernadette, Sheila and the late Joan and Mary; deeply and deservedly regretted by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends. R.I.P. Removal from his residence to St Brigid's Church, Blanchardstown this (Tuesday) evening, arriving at 5.30 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Wednesday) after 11 o'clock Mass to Clonsilla Churchyard. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust, St James's Hospital."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis."
