FitzGerald Patrick John (Died September 3, 2009) - Patrick's wife Melinda, daughters Liane and Daire, son John, parents Paddy and Carmel, brothers and sisters, Melinda's family and Patrick's large extended family, would like to acknowledge, on this his Month's Mind, everybody who sympathised with us at the time of his passing, on the loss of a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law and brother-in-law. To those who travelled long distances, attended the Celebration of Patrick's life, his wake and funeral, all who sent Mass and sympathy cards, we thank you. Especial thanks to our wonderful neighbours and friends, particularly Roisin and Steve, for all their acts of kindness during this sad time. A special word of thanks to the wonderful doctors and nurses who attended Patrick in The Blackrock Hospice and the Palliative Care Teams, they cared so well for him during his final days. We are also eternally grateful to those who made Patrick's last days so memorable. Our thanks to Stephen and Robin Collier (Funeral Directors) for their wonderful professionalism and personal attention. To all the priests, Fr Des Reid C.S.Sp. and Fr Noel Redmond C.S.Sp. Rockwell College, Fr Tom Nash C.S.Sp and Fr Cormac O'Brolchain C.S.Sp. Blackrock College, Fr Denis Gavin CSSp. Willow Park and Fr Paul Ward from Foxrock Parish, who celebrated the funeral Mass, attended the Celebration of Life, our sincere thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. The Month's Mind Mass will be held in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, on Sunday morning, October 4, at 12.30 o'clock."He was truly one in a Million"
