HICKEY (Larchfield Avenue, Renmore, Galway and formerly Brocca, Co. Offaly) - June 13, 2005 (Feast of St Anthony), Michael (Retd. Dept of Agriculture) (unexpectedly and peacefully) in wonderful care at U.C.H. Galway, reunited with his beloved wife Maisie. He will be dearly missed by his loving son Patrick (Cork), daughters Maria Colgan (Cork), Catherine Hickey Ó Maoláin (Galway), Elizabeth McCormack (Dublin) and Claire McCullough (Dublin), daughter-in-law Valerie, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sisters and brothers, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law Anna and her husband Hughie, brother-in-law, relatives and many friends. Removal from the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at 7 o'clock to the Church of St Oliver Plunkett, Renmore. Funeral after 11 o'clock Mass on Thursday to the new cemetery, Bohermore. A gentle man whose strong faith and dedication to his family and friends will never be forgotten."May he rest in peace".
