DAY, Fr Michael (Castlefinn and San Diego) - March 19, 2011, unexpectedly but peacefully in his 97th year, in the loving care of the Sisters and Nurses at Nazareth House, San Diego. Rest in Peace. Pre-deceased by his dear brothers Leo and Patrick and his beloved sister Mary (Heavey). Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Winnie (Belfast), his beloved and loving nieces and nephews Margaret, Jennifer, Winifred, Seoirse, Pat, Donal, and Desmond (Day); Michael, Virginia, Barbara, Mark, Fiona, Oonagh and the late Raymund and George (Heavey); nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law, great-nieces and great-nephews and his many friends in San Diego, Sun City, Hesperia and Ireland. Funeral Mass has taken place at Nazareth House San Diego (Tuesday 29 March), wake and Mass of the Resurrection (30 March) at St Vincent Ferrer Church, Sun City followed by committal service at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, Colton (Diocese of San Bernardino)."Y con los pobres de la tierra"
