COONEY John (Jack) M.R.C.V.S (Limerick and late of Annacarty, Tipperary) - September 29, 2010 (peacefully) after a short illness. Loving and much-loved husband of Marie (née Henigan, Listowel), devoted father of Tom (Cooney), Anne (O'Connell), Yvonne (O'Byrne), Mar (Fogarty) and John (Cooney), loving father-in-law of Ger, Eddie, Eamonn, Jennifer and Catherine, doting grandfather to his 17 grandchildren and his 9 beautiful great-grandchildren, dearest brother of Madgie and the late Fr. P.J. Cooney, Pastor Emeritus in Ballycahill; he will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Removal from his home to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road, tomorrow (Friday) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael's Cemetery, Listowel arriving 2.30 o'c approx. House private please.
