KENNY (née Canning) (Kingshill, Salthill, Galway and formerly Mohill, Co. Leitrim) - March 25, 2008 (peacefully), surrounded by her family, in the loving care of the staff of Pointe Boise, Salthill. Maureen, wife of the late Desmond. Much loved by her family; mother of Thomas, Jane (Hogan), Dessy, Gerry, Monica (Rigney) and Conor. Mother-in-law of Maureen, Billy, Anne, Frank, Ann and Geraldine; Grandmother of twenty-one, Great-Grandmother of thirteen. Sadly missed by all her family and friends. Reposing at her daughter Monica's home, 41 Lwr Newcastle, Galway, this (Wednesday) evening from 3 p.m. Removal at 7 p.m to the Augustinian Church, Galway. Funeral after 1 p.m Mass tomorrow (Thursday) to the New Cemetery, Bohermore. Donations if desired to the Galway Hospice."May she rest in peace".
