GIBBONS Dr. Hugh (Keadue, Boyle, Co. Roscommon) - On the First Anniversary of his death we, his sons Brian, Luke, Conal, Hugh, his daughters JoAnn and Berna, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-granddaughter and extended family would like to express our warmest gratitude for the kindness and support of all those who sympathised with us, and those who travelled long distances, on the loss of a very special father and person. A special word of gratitude to the President's Aide-de-Camp, An Taoiseach's Aide de Camp, Mr. Brian Cowen T.D., An Taoiseach, Members of Dáil and Seanad Éireann, members of Roscommon County Council and local Councils, Officers and members of the Defence Forces, Fianna Fáil Party and the GAA. We extend our deepest appreciation and thanks to Most Reverend Bishop Colm O'Reilly of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise, Canon Peadar Lavin, Fr. Sam Holmes and the many other clergy who concelebrated Mass and led the final prayers for Hugh. Our thanks go to all medical and non-medical staff, and to Laurel Lodge, Longford, for their care in looking after our father in his time of need. For our relatives, friends, and neighbours in the local community we have a special word of thanks and gratitude for their support and thoughtfulness before, during and after our father's funeral. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep and sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
