DAWSON (née Barrett) (Dublin and formerly of Bangor Erris, Co. Mayo) - July 3, 2008, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St Vincent's Private Hospital, Philomena (Phil) (retired Principal Teacher at Temple Street Children's Hospital). Beloved and devoted wife of Pearse and loving mother of Cathal, Gerarda (Benville) and Cliona (Moloney), cherished grandmother of Shane, Neal, Ciarán, Liam, Conn, Clare, Róisín and Matthew; deeply regretted by her brother Fr Gerry Barrett O.M.I. (Texas), sisters Sr Catherine (Dolie) (Irish Sisters of Charity) and Kathleen (Kennedy) (Thurles) brother-in-law Willy (Kennedy), sister-in-law Mary (Barrett), sons-in-law James and Rory, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at Patrick O'Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin (opp. Sallynoggin Church). Removal tomorrow (Saturday) evening to Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin arriving at 4.30 o'clock Funeral Monday morning after 11 o'clock Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. House strictly private.
