Ó CINNÉIDE Muiris (Ros Cré agus Corca Dhuibhne) - On this First Anniversary of his death, Mai and family, together with Muiris's sister, Sighle Fitzgerald, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sent Mass cards, letters and messages of sympathy and who helped us in so many ways during Muiris's illness and his passing to eternal life. Míle buíochas to Dr. David Fennelly, Dr. Michael Moriarity, Carmel Holohan and her team on the 4th Floor, St. Vincent's Private Hospital, who cared for Muiris with sensitivity, love and good humour. Many thanks also to his G.P. Dr. George McManus, nurses, carers and North Tipperary Hospice - all who made our saying goodbye so much easier. Do cháirde Mhuiris ó Chorca Dhuibhne agus muinntir Chiarraí a tháinig chun "Slán abhaile" a ghabháil leis, ár mbuíochas ó chroí. We will forever appreciate the kindness, love and loyalty shown by Muiris's friends and colleagues in north Tipperary V.E.C., who formed a guard of honour and walked with him to the Church, and thank them for sharing with us loving memories of Muiris's life in Roscrea. Likewise, the Roscrea Lions' Club, who escorted him to his final resting place in St. Cronans. He would like you all to know how much he loved his adopted town. Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Tony Cahir and his co-celebrants for celebrating Mass, to Frankie and her choir for a wonderful musical send-off, to Eilís, John, Tadhg and Lisa for their sensitive renditions of some of Muiris's favourite musical pieces, and to Christina and Dairena for their poetry. Our grateful appreciation to the staff of the former Roscrea Vocational School for the wonderful tribute you wrote for the press. Muiris would be so proud, and we, who will always love him say "go raibh mile maith agaibh". We will have a Mass offered for your intentions and will give a donation to North Tipperary Hospice in lieu of acknowledgement cards.'Go n'árdaí Dia do anam,
A Mhuiris, go bhfeicfear a chéile arís'
