WALLACE, Ita (Mullingar, September 14, 2010) - On Ita's first anniversary, her children Ann, Eva, Una, John, Joan, Clair, Peter with her sister Aideen Redmond, brothers Gerald and Dermot Fitzgerald, and all her grandchildren, wish to express their appreciation to all those who offered their sympathy and support. We were overwhelmed by the friendship, kindness and consideration shown to us by so many people, which was demonstrated in so many different ways; attended the removal and funeral, those who sent flowers, letters and Mass Cards or simply made contact with us. A special word of appreciation is extended to the carers, neighbours and friends who were so good to Ita in her latter years. Also to the medical profession over the years, especially the ICU staff at the Mullingar Regional Hospital for their exemplary care. Our particular thanks go to the Captains, Officers and Members of Mullingar Golf Club, the President, past Presidents and Officers of the Irish Ladies Golf Union, who were so dear to Ita's heart. A sincere thank you to the Bishop and Priests of the parish, especially Fr. Paul Crosbie for his unfailing support. We also wish to thank Con Gilsenan funeral director for his professionalism in organising the funeral arrangements, Teresa Nixon florist, the singers, organist and the Garda Siochana who greatly helped at the removal and funeral. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
