SHERRY (née Walsh) Emma (Dundrum, Dublin 14) - January 25, 2008 (peacefully, surrounded by her family), after a long illness borne with determination, courage and dignity, in the wonderful care of the medical and nursing staff of Mount Carmel Hospital, beloved wife of the late Capt. James A. Sherry, Aer Lingus, devoted mother to Paula, Orlaith (deceased), Ronan, Hilda, Garrett, Emma-Jane, Nicky, Helen (Burns) and Brian, a doting Granny to her 23 grandchildren; sadly missed by her loving sister Olive, sisters-in-law, Brighid, Deirdre, Jo and Joan, brothers-in-law, Danny, Kevin and Martin, daughters-in-law, Monika and Irene, sons-in-law Paul, Gary, Stephen, Barry and Alan, her many nieces and nephews, her dearest friend Colette, her wide circle of friends and extended family. Reposing at Mount Carmel Mortuary Chapel today (Saturday) from 3-4 pm, prior to her removal to St Laurence O'Toole Church, Kilmacud arriving 4.30 p.m. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Bohernabreena Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Irish Lung Foundation."May she rest in peace".
