SHIEL (Foxrock) - March 7, 2009, (peacefully), at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Sylvester J. (Syl), late of O.P.W., beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Mary (Máire Ní Shíodhail), John and Ruth, much loved Granddad of Ciarán, David and Paula, dear brother of Peg (Melvin) and Srs. Teresita and Fideles (Loreto) and the late Ella Hughes, father-in-law to Cathal and Rhona; will be sadly missed by his loving family, relatives and his many friends and by his golfing companions at Foxrock Golf Club. Rest in peace. Removal today (Monday) to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Tuesday) after 10 o'clock Requiem Mass to Shanganagh Cemetery.
