BARRETT (Carrigaline) - January 9, 2009 (peacefully), after a long illness, cheerfully and bravely borne in the tender care of the staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, Richard (Dick), Veterinary Surgeon, beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Rory, John, Rhona and the late Edel; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Niamh and Casey, son-in-law James, grand- children, sisters Aileen, Fiona and Cathy, relatives and many friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline. Removal this (Saturday) evening at 5 p.m. to the Church of Our Lady and St John, Carrigaline. Requiem Mass on Monday at 2 p.m. Funeral afterwards to St Mary's Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Brú Columbanus.
