MAHER, Bree (late of Knockmullen, New Ross) - In Basel, Switzerland on May 9, 2009, in the care of Basel University Hospital, after a battle against a long illness, bravely fought. Beloved wife of Alan and loving mother of Ellie and Maya, daughter of Peg Maher and the late Peter Maher; will be sadly missed by Alan, Ellie, Maya, her mother Peg and brothers David and Andy and sisters Ann and Mag, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Local service and cremation in Basel, Switzerland on Thursday, 14th May. The Funeral Service (non-denominational) will be held in the Brandon House Hotel on Monday, 18th of May at 11 a.m. In addition, a Mass to commemorate Bree's life will be celebrated in St Mary's & St Michael's Parish Church, Michael Street, New Ross at 12 Midday, Tuesday 19th of May. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to cancer research.
