CARMODY (Blackrock, Co. Dublin, formerly of Tullaroe, Co. Clare) - November 17, 2009, (suddenly) while on holiday in Algeria, Mary, daughter of the late Micheál; very sadly missed by her loving mother Mary, brothers Michael and Martin, sisters, Ber, Helen, Margaret, Breda, Aine, Siobhán, Carmel and Deirdre, her close friend Patrick, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Quinn's of Glasthule, today (Friday) between 6 and 8 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) to St John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, arriving at 10.50 o'clock for 11 o'clock Mass, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. No flowers please, donations if desired to the Irish Wheelchair Association or Amnesty International.

<p>In Loving Memory</p> <p><br />I am saddened to learn of Mary's passing, RIP. She was a wonderful person and friend. I met Mary while attending UCD in 1976 and we remained close all the years. I moved to NYC 27 years ago and when I visited Dublin, I always stayed with Mary. We had many great conversations. My visits to Dublin will not be the same without seeing Mary.</p> <p>I extend my deepest sympathy to her Mom, family and friends.She is at peace in Heaven.</p> <p>Love,</p> <p>Mary</p>
