O'CONNOR (née O'Meara) (Monread Road, Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Roscrea, Co. Tipperary) - March 11, 2010 (peacefully), at Naas General Hospital surrounded by her family, Monica, beloved wife of the late Paddy and dear mother of Miriam (O'Flaherty), Gerard, Ray, Des, Darina (Friel), Frank and the late Odette; deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law Denis and Kieran, daughters-in-law Anne, Nancy, Siobhan and Carmel, grandchildren, great- granddaughter, sisters Mary and Ann, brother Michael, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Removal from her residence this (Friday) evening at 6.15 o'clock to arrive at the Church of Our Lady and St David, Naas for 6.30 o'clock Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 12 o'clock Burial afterwards in St Corban's Cemetery, Dublin Road, Naas. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Friends of Naas Hospital.
O'CONNOR, Monica (née O'Meara) (Monread Road, Naas, died March 11, 2010) - On this Monica's First Anniversary, her children Miriam, Gerard, Ray, Des, Darina and Frank, brother Michael, sisters Mary and Ann, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grand- children, great-grandchild and extended family wish to express sincere thanks to all those who called to the house, attended the removal, Mass and burial, sent Mass Cards, letters of sympathy and made generous donations to the Friends of Naas Hospital. Thank you to the priests who concelebrated Mass and visited Monica during her illness. Sincere thanks to the members of Naas Golf Club for their guards of honour and generous use of club facilities. A special word of thanks to Monica's GP, Dr. John O'Connor and all the staff in Naas General Hospital, particularly the Oncology and Palliative Care teams for their caring support. To our wonderful neighbours and friends we will always remember your kindness. As it would be impossible to thank everyone we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
