GALLAGHER (Dr John Patrick) - Mrs. Johanna Gallagher and family (Glenavy) would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. To all who called at the house and helped in any way; those who brought Mass Cards, sympathy cards, gifts and flowers and to those who telephoned us. We also thank everyone who attended Paddy's funeral and those who travelled long distances to it. A special word of thanks to Fr Luke McWilliams P.P. for his pastoral care and for the inspiring Requiem Mass; to the Altar boys, grandsons Owen, Philip and Barney and to the vocalist Canice Brankin and the accompanying instrumentalist who provided music during the ceremony. Also for the devoted carers who did so much to ease and keep him comfortable throughout the long years of his illness, also to the doctors and nurses who gave professional and supportive help to us both, and to the Eucharistic ministers who called weekly and whom he much appreciated. A very big thank you to the ladies of the Glenavy branch of the Apostolic Association who at short notice provided refreshments after the funeral. To St Clare's Hall committee for permission to use the hall; to the funeral directors, Eastwoods, Crumlin for their sensitive and efficient management of the funeral arrangements. As it would be impossible to thank all individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
