My loving and adorable brother Paul

Que pasa Pauly? Just writing to you to tell you how much I have missed you since you have been gone, there's not a day that goes by without my thinking about you. On my bedside table I have put one of your favourite photos of you hand gliding back down onto a boat. I remember the day you told me about this wee adventure of yours and I didn't believe you, boy, were you brave. In hindsight I think you were one of the bravest people I have ever met, you were always willing to do dangerous and exciting things. I also have a pipe of yours just beside the photo because you and your pipe go hand-in-hand. Pauly, I hope with all my heart that you are happy and content where you are and that you are being well looked after.

I miss you so much Paul that I can't even describe how much in words but I'm sure you know. Look after Mum cos she is slowly dying without you by her side.

Yours always,

Your little sister, Mare mare XXXXXX
